The founders, Mr. Hamano Kenta hit upon the Tonbo Engineering Company name in 2001. He was a dragonfly lover, so that he uses the Tonbo, which means dragonfly in Japan as the company name. He hopes that this company will function like a dragonfly, fast and effective.
Tonbo Engineering Company was established on 1st January 1991, in Sarawak, Miri. We are based on the production car-based. Besides that, we have bridge designing for clients. There had a lot of fully experience contractor and designer in our company to perform the best services.
Since today, it had already 20 years history. Within these 20 years, Tonbo Engineering had successfully in the car manufacturing. Not only that, there have many bridge projects in Malaysia were designed by our company.
Now a day, this company was running under Mr. Hii Hau Hao, who is the chairman in last 6 years. Under the administration by him, the company annual profit had significantly increased by 5%. Not only that, Tonbo Engineering Company was leading the car manufacturing market in Malaysia.
